Rain Magazine is an annual, student-run publication at Clatsop Community College that highlights the creativity of students and the Oregon coast community through writing, art, and photography. Submissions are reviewed by a dedicated student team, with the final publication serving as a testament to the region's talent.
As Editor and Design Chief, I managed the entire design and production process for the magazine's 195-page issue, including sponsored advertisements. While the team focused on reviewing and approving submissions, I single-handedly designed the layout, oversaw production, and directly liaised with the printing company. Despite limited guidance—my advisor had no experience with Adobe InDesign—I delivered the magazine on time for the first time in its 54-year history, completing the project within a single 10-week term.
